Here is a high level overview for what you need to do to get most of an Android environment setup and maintained. I'm trying to run the emulator but I get android sdk not found, has anyone see same problem.

Having the ANTHOME environment variable set breaks ant. With it set:% ant -execdebug exec '$JAVACMD' -classpath '$LOCALCLASSPATH' -Dant.home='$ANTHOME' -Dant.library.dir='$ANTLIB' org.apache.tools.ant.launch.Launcher -cp '$CLASSPATH' '-lib' '/usr/local/share/ant' Error: Could not find or load main class org.apache.tools.ant.launch.Launcher Without it set:% ant -execdebug exec '$JAVACMD' -classpath '$LOCALCLASSPATH' -Dant.home='$ANTHOME' -Dant.library.dir='$ANTLIB' org.apache.tools.ant.launch.Launcher -cp '$CLASSPATH' Buildfile: build.xml does not exist! Build failed Ref.
We've ran into an issue where we need to load android emulators from the command line in order to pass -partition-size (changing the local installed storage of the device; this flag isn't settable in the avd manager itself). When you go to run an avd from the command line, e.g. Emulator @myavd -partition-size 300 you'll get: emulator: ERROR: unknown skin name '.' This is fixed by running: export ANDROIDSDKROOT=/usr/local/Cellar/android-sdk/r16/ I looked through the formulae and I don't know how to make this a part of the base formula (I'd happily fork and fix if I knew how). It definitely needs defined, though, otherwise many of the tools won't work from the command line.
